# TrekIT Passenger vs RD Driver

The clearest difference is rating: RD Driver at 5.0 against TrekIT Passenger's 2.7. TrekIT Passenger's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 0%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RD Driver holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TrekIT Passenger has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of TrekIT Passenger's written reviews are positive against 0% of RD Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TrekIT Passenger ships an update monthly, RD Driver every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
