# LegitApp Authentication vs A+S

The clearest difference is monetization model: A+S at free against LegitApp Authentication's free with in-app purchases. LegitApp Authentication's advantage is ratings volume (9.9K vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for LegitApp Authentication against 5.0 for A+S. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LegitApp Authentication has 9.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of LegitApp Authentication's written reviews are positive against 71% of A+S's.

LegitApp Authentication ships an update weekly, A+S monthly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
