# Motive Fleet vs Unity Install

The clearest difference is rating: Motive Fleet at 4.7 against Unity Install's 1.0. Motive Fleet also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Unity Install's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Motive Fleet holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Motive Fleet has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Motive Fleet ships an update fortnightly, Unity Install every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
