# Aimore vs Yeelight

The clearest difference is rating: Yeelight at 2.0 against Aimore's 1.3. Aimore's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yeelight holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 24 and 21 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of Aimore's written reviews are positive against 5% of Yeelight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aimore ships an update monthly, Yeelight every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
