# MyCBS vs Loop

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MyCBS at none against Loop's 13. MyCBS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Loop's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 3) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. MyCBS asks for nothing beyond the download.

MyCBS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loop has 1.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyCBS ships an update every 3 months, Loop every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
