# Onelap vs RestOrTrain

The clearest difference is rating: RestOrTrain at 4.8 against Onelap's 2.8. RestOrTrain also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 29%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). Onelap's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Onelap sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and RestOrTrain sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RestOrTrain holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RestOrTrain has 606 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of Onelap's written reviews are positive against 64% of RestOrTrain's.

Onelap ships an update every 2 months, RestOrTrain every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
