# CompTIA A+ Exam Expert vs Prepit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prepit at every 5 days against CompTIA A+ Exam Expert's every 3 months. CompTIA A+ Exam Expert's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CompTIA A+ Exam Expert sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Prepit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CompTIA A+ Exam Expert ships an update every 3 months, Prepit every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
