# Create Widgets for Home Screen vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is rating: Digital Clock at 4.7 against Create Widgets for Home Screen's 4.4. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Create Widgets for Home Screen sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Digital Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 145 and 111 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Create Widgets for Home Screen's written reviews are positive against 67% of Digital Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
