# bubble for JELLYFISH vs Phoning

The clearest difference is rating: bubble for JELLYFISH at 4.6 against Phoning's 4.0. bubble for JELLYFISH also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Phoning's advantage is ratings volume (736 vs 12) and review sentiment (54% vs 43%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. bubble for JELLYFISH sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Phoning sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

bubble for JELLYFISH holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Phoning has 736 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of bubble for JELLYFISH's written reviews are positive against 54% of Phoning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

bubble for JELLYFISH ships an update every 3 weeks, Phoning every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
