# 5 Second Rule vs milliSolitaire

The clearest difference is rating: milliSolitaire at 5.0 against 5 Second Rule's 4.5. milliSolitaire also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 6 weeks). 5 Second Rule's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 1) and chart position (#87 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 5 Second Rule sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and milliSolitaire sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

milliSolitaire holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 5 Second Rule has 3.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

5 Second Rule ships an update every 6 weeks, milliSolitaire every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
