# AxNote vs CellPointer

The clearest difference is price: AxNote at Free against CellPointer's $0.99. CellPointer's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

AxNote is free to download; CellPointer costs $0.99 up front. AxNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CellPointer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AxNote ships an update every 6 weeks, CellPointer every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
