# AxNote vs Quick Notes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AxNote at 50% against Quick Notes's 0%. AxNote also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). Quick Notes's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AxNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Quick Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AxNote has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of AxNote's written reviews are positive against 0% of Quick Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AxNote ships an update every 2 months, Quick Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
