# Math Fun vs Math

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Math Fun at 97% against Math's 50%. Math Fun also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Math's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 1.0) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Fun sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Math sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Math Fun's written reviews are positive against 50% of Math's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Math Fun ships an update fortnightly, Math every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
