# Merlin Dating vs Glow

The clearest difference is update cadence: Glow at every 3 days against Merlin Dating's every 2 weeks. Merlin Dating's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Merlin Dating sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Glow sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
