# SYS Control vs On

The clearest difference is rating: On at 5.0 against SYS Control's 1.0. On also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). SYS Control's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. On sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. SYS Control asks for nothing beyond the download.

On holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: On has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SYS Control ships an update every 4 months, On every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
