# Timer of Time vs Min & Sec Timer

The clearest difference is monetization model: Min & Sec Timer at free against Timer of Time's free with in-app purchases. Min & Sec Timer also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer of Time sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Min & Sec Timer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer of Time holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Min & Sec Timer has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Timer of Time ships an update every 5 weeks, Min & Sec Timer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
