# Knit It vs Knit Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Knit Pro at 4.5 against Knit It's 3.8. Knit Pro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (65% vs 44%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knit It sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Knit Pro sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Knit Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knit Pro has 149 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Knit It's written reviews are positive against 65% of Knit Pro's.

Knit It ships an update fortnightly, Knit Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
