# TeSlate vs TuneWave

The clearest difference is rating: TuneWave at 4.9 against TeSlate's 4.2. TuneWave also leads on device support (4 vs 2). TeSlate's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TuneWave holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 25 and 27 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of TeSlate's written reviews are positive against 89% of TuneWave's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TeSlate ships an update weekly, TuneWave every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
