# Eventually vs Stylus

The clearest difference is rating: Eventually at 4.6 against Stylus's 3.0. Eventually also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days) and ratings volume (7 vs 2). Stylus's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eventually sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stylus sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eventually holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Eventually's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stylus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eventually ships an update every 3 days, Stylus every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
