# Fossil vs B

The clearest difference is ads: B at none against Fossil's shown. Fossil's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fossil sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and B sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fossil ships an update every 8 days, B every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
