# Picky vs Plated

The clearest difference is ads: Plated at none against Picky's shown. Plated also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Picky's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Picky ships an update every 2 weeks, Plated every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
