# Clock Widget vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Digital Clock at 67% against Clock Widget's 19%. Digital Clock also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2). Clock Widget's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clock Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Digital Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clock Widget has 1.4K ratings behind it against 108, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 19% of Clock Widget's written reviews are positive against 67% of Digital Clock's.

Clock Widget ships an update daily, Digital Clock monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
