# RC FPV vs SENTRY Drone

The clearest difference is rating: RC FPV at 2.4 against SENTRY Drone's 1.8. RC FPV also leads on ratings volume (501 vs 4). SENTRY Drone's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (33% vs 18%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RC FPV holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RC FPV has 501 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of RC FPV's written reviews are positive against 33% of SENTRY Drone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RC FPV ships an update every 4 weeks, SENTRY Drone monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and August 14, 2026 respectively.
