# Widgetly vs Aesthetic Kit

The clearest difference is rating: Aesthetic Kit at 4.6 against Widgetly's 4.1. Aesthetic Kit also leads on ratings volume (126K vs 40) and chart position (#151 vs unranked). Widgetly's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widgetly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Aesthetic Kit sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aesthetic Kit holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aesthetic Kit has 126K ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Widgetly's written reviews are positive against 25% of Aesthetic Kit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Widgetly ships an update daily, Aesthetic Kit monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
