# HappyLed vs G

The clearest difference is review sentiment: G at 100% against HappyLed's 0%. HappyLed's advantage is rating (1.6 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 27 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HappyLed holds the better App Store score, 1.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HappyLed has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of HappyLed's written reviews are positive against 100% of G's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HappyLed ships an update every 2 months, G every 27 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
