# zenith Smart vs Petkey

The clearest difference is rating: Petkey at 4.8 against zenith Smart's 3.0. Petkey also leads on ratings volume (823 vs 4). zenith Smart's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Petkey holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Petkey has 823 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of zenith Smart's written reviews are positive against 44% of Petkey's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

zenith Smart ships an update every 2 weeks, Petkey every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
