# XMP2GO vs DOM Service

The clearest difference is update cadence: DOM Service at every 2 months against XMP2GO's every 5 months. XMP2GO's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XMP2GO ships an update every 5 months, DOM Service every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
