# Rig Manager vs Valeton Suite

The clearest difference is rating: Valeton Suite at 4.0 against Rig Manager's 3.8. Rig Manager's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (42% vs 30%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Valeton Suite holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 40 and 20 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Rig Manager's written reviews are positive against 30% of Valeton Suite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rig Manager ships an update monthly, Valeton Suite every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
