# MOI vs Lantern Shadow Tours

The clearest difference is monetization model: MOI at free against Lantern Shadow Tours's free with in-app purchases. MOI also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MOI sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Lantern Shadow Tours sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
