# LikeRead vs RosyRead

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RosyRead at 71% against LikeRead's 23%. RosyRead also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). LikeRead's advantage is ratings volume (352 vs 29) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LikeRead sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and RosyRead sells 29 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RosyRead holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LikeRead has 352 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 23% of LikeRead's written reviews are positive against 71% of RosyRead's.

LikeRead ships an update every 3 weeks, RosyRead every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
