# UltraPro vs Minoston

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UltraPro at 48% against Minoston's 25%. UltraPro also leads on ratings volume (269 vs 66). Minoston's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Minoston holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 269 and 66 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of UltraPro's written reviews are positive against 25% of Minoston's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UltraPro ships an update every 4 months, Minoston every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
