# ・ (Yidget) vs Paint

The clearest difference is price: ・ (Yidget) at Free against Paint's $0.49. ・ (Yidget) also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 6). Paint's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On rating there is nothing between them.

・ (Yidget) is free to download; Paint costs $0.49 up front. ・ (Yidget) sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Paint asks for nothing beyond the download.

・ (Yidget) holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ・ (Yidget) has 1.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of ・ (Yidget)'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Paint's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

・ (Yidget) ships an update every 3 weeks, Paint every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
