# Special Dates vs Clean Count

The clearest difference is device support: Special Dates at 3 against Clean Count's 1. Clean Count's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Special Dates sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Clean Count sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Special Dates ships an update every 3 months, Clean Count every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
