# Special Dates vs TaskFace

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaskFace at every 5 days against Special Dates's every 3 months. TaskFace also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Special Dates sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and TaskFace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Special Dates ships an update every 3 months, TaskFace every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
