# Icon Changer vs App Icon Changer

Icon Changer and App Icon Changer both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 58% of Icon Changer's written reviews are positive against 4% of App Icon Changer's. App Icon Changer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Icon Changer sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and App Icon Changer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: App Icon Changer has 1.4K ratings behind it against 233, so its average is the more settled of the two.
