# Icon Changer vs Icon Text Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Icon Text Maker at 5.0 against Icon Changer's 4.3. Icon Text Maker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 16.1). Icon Changer's advantage is ratings volume (233 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Icon Changer sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Icon Text Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Icon Text Maker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Icon Changer has 233 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Icon Changer's written reviews are positive against 50% of Icon Text Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
