# Wingfox vs Migaku

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Migaku at 73% against Wingfox's 19%. Migaku also leads on rating (4.4 vs 2.2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). Wingfox's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wingfox sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Migaku sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Migaku holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Migaku has 371 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 19% of Wingfox's written reviews are positive against 73% of Migaku's.

Wingfox ships an update every 6 weeks, Migaku weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
