# GARO vs CM2

The clearest difference is ads: CM2 at none against GARO's shown. GARO's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GARO ships an update monthly, CM2 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on July 25, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
