# Quitzilla vs Dopamine Detox

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dopamine Detox at weekly against Quitzilla's every 10 months. Dopamine Detox also leads on review sentiment (88% vs 75%) and iOS requirement (16.1 vs 26.0). Quitzilla's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 15). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quitzilla sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Dopamine Detox sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dopamine Detox holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quitzilla has 1.5K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Quitzilla's written reviews are positive against 88% of Dopamine Detox's.

Quitzilla ships an update every 10 months, Dopamine Detox weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
