# Quitzilla vs Countdown & Day Counter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Countdown & Day Counter at fortnightly against Quitzilla's every 10 months. Countdown & Day Counter also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). Quitzilla's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quitzilla sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Countdown & Day Counter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown & Day Counter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quitzilla has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Quitzilla ships an update every 10 months, Countdown & Day Counter fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
