# Quitzilla vs MindShift

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindShift at fortnightly against Quitzilla's every 10 months. MindShift also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Quitzilla's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quitzilla sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and MindShift sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MindShift holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quitzilla has 1.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Quitzilla ships an update every 10 months, MindShift fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
