# Quitzilla vs Tethermore

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tethermore at every 2 days against Quitzilla's every 10 months. Tethermore also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Quitzilla's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quitzilla sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Tethermore sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tethermore holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quitzilla has 1.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of Quitzilla's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tethermore's.

Quitzilla ships an update every 10 months, Tethermore every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
