# WidgetFox vs Widget Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WidgetFox at 92% against Widget Pro's 0%. WidgetFox also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks). Widget Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widget Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. WidgetFox asks for nothing beyond the download.

Widget Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WidgetFox has 207 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of WidgetFox's written reviews are positive against 0% of Widget Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WidgetFox ships an update every 5 days, Widget Pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
