# ADDHEAT vs Nu Scanner

The clearest difference is rating: Nu Scanner at 5.0 against ADDHEAT's 3.9. ADDHEAT's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nu Scanner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ADDHEAT has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
