# Live Widgets vs Only Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Only Widgets at 5.0 against Live Widgets's 2.0. Live Widgets's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Only Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Live Widgets asks for nothing beyond the download.

Only Widgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Widgets has 25 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Live Widgets ships an update weekly, Only Widgets every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
