# Sticky Widgets vs Reminder Notifications

The clearest difference is ads: Sticky Widgets at none against Reminder Notifications's shown. Sticky Widgets also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (30K vs 1.4K). Reminder Notifications's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 40%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Widgets sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Reminder Notifications sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Sticky Widgets against 4.7 for Reminder Notifications. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Widgets has 30K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 40% of Sticky Widgets's written reviews are positive against 61% of Reminder Notifications's.

Sticky Widgets ships an update every 2 weeks, Reminder Notifications every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
