# Sticky Widgets vs Countdown

Sticky Widgets and Countdown both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of Countdown's written reviews are positive against 40% of Sticky Widgets's. Sticky Widgets's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 3.1K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Widgets sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Countdown sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Sticky Widgets against 4.7 for Countdown. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Widgets has 30K ratings behind it against 3.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 40% of Sticky Widgets's written reviews are positive against 82% of Countdown's.

Sticky Widgets ships an update every 2 weeks, Countdown weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
