# Sticky Widgets vs RipGuard

The clearest difference is rating: RipGuard at 5.0 against Sticky Widgets's 4.6. Sticky Widgets's advantage is ratings volume (30K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sticky Widgets sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and RipGuard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RipGuard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sticky Widgets has 30K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sticky Widgets ships an update every 2 weeks, RipGuard every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
