# Block Screen vs Anotao

The clearest difference is update cadence: Anotao at every 3 days against Block Screen's every 11 days. Anotao also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Block Screen ships an update every 11 days, Anotao every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
