# Witch Diary vs Ripples

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ripples at fortnightly against Witch Diary's monthly. Witch Diary's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Witch Diary sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and Ripples sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Witch Diary ships an update monthly, Ripples fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
